The management of Galaxy FC has bid farewell to its Head Coach, Batrum Surie and wished him a safe trip back to Solomon Islands.
Mr Surie left Vanuatu for Solomon Islands at 11am yesterday.
The owner of Galaxy FC, Mr Andrew Leong and Galaxy President Jackson George have acknowledged Mr Surie for the experiences that he has given to the players and making history for Galaxy FC to participate in the first and to the second rounds of the 2020 O-League competitions for the first time.
Galaxy FC players really appreciate Mr Surie’s trainings and they have learnt and improved their skills during his time with them.
In an interview with Mr Surie during their training this week, Mr Surie said, “I am very happy to go back home due to personal reason. I want to be with my families due to the coronavirus pandemic”.
He added, “O-League is just for a short period of time. I am not sure yet whether I will come back but i believe Moise will lead the team further, and if i don’t come back, I hope they can find someone to replace me”.
Galaxy FC started their trainings last month. This week, Mr Moise Poida as the team’s Assistant Coach will take up the role of the Head Coach.
